Diljit Dosanjh Becomes First Punjabi Artist to Headline Wembley Stadium

Global sensation Diljit Dosanjh is set to make history on September 12, as he prepares to headline London’s iconic Wembley Stadium. This monumental performance marks his most ambitious European show to date.

By taking the stage at this legendary 90,000-capacity venue, Dosanjh cements his legacy as the first Indian and first Punjabi artist to ever headline the stadium. This achievement follows Arijit Singh’s trailblazing 2025 performance at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, which saw him become the first Indian artist to headline a U.K. stadium.

The Punjabi icon shared the electrifying news with fans during his May 31 performance at Toronto’s Rogers Centre. In a proud moment for his career, he acknowledged joining an elite roster of world-class legends—including Michael Jackson, Queen, and Prince—who have previously graced the Wembley stage. The stadium’s upcoming calendar features a stellar lineup of global superstars such as Harry Styles, Bruno Mars, The Weeknd, and Bon Jovi.

Dosanjh is no stranger to major London venues, having previously commanded a sold-out crowd at the 20,000-capacity O2 Arena in October 2024.

Ticketing Information:

Fans eager to secure their spots can participate in an artist-exclusive presale beginning June 10 at 10 a.m. (BST). General ticket sales will open on June 12 at 10 a.m. (BST) via Live Nation.

Currently, Dosanjh is electrifying audiences on his massive Aura world tour. Since kicking off the North American leg in Vancouver this past April, he has dominated arenas across the continent, including two triumphant nights at New York’s Madison Square Garden. The North American circuit concludes with back-to-back performances at San Francisco’s Chase Center on June 20 and 21.

This milestone year follows the 2025 release of his 15th studio album, Aura, and his collaborative reimagining of “Senorita” with J Balvin. His recent surge in global visibility has included a high-profile debut at the Met Gala and a return appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon to showcase his latest EP, The Call of the Panjab.
