Developers of Racing Game ‘Off‑Road Commanders’ Reveal Gameplay and Respond to ‘Too‑Smooth’ Off‑Road Criticism
Not everyone is satisfied with the quality of the footage shown.
Recently the team behind “Off‑Road Commanders” reemerged, sharing a short compilation of gameplay — several highlights from runs across varied conditions.
One community member observed: “This kind of ‘smooth’ off‑roading feels like rally games from the 2000s. Developers, please take a look at the off‑road handling in MudRunner.”
The developers replied, reminding everyone that “Off‑Road Commanders” is not intended as a simulator and that this footage is from an early prototype that does not represent the final mud effects.
The clip is available on the project’s VK community at this link.
