David and Victoria Beckham Support Son Cruz’s Tour Amid Reported Rift With Brooklyn: ‘So Proud of You’

David and Victoria Beckham are publicly championing their youngest son, Cruz, as a complex family divide with their firstborn, Brooklyn, continues to unfold in the spotlight.
On Friday (Jan. 23), the high-profile parents took to social media to celebrate a major milestone for Cruz, who recently announced an upcoming tour with his band, The Breakers. Sharing his excitement on Instagram, the aspiring musician told his followers, “It’s been a dream of mine to perform the music I’ve been crafting for you all,” alongside a list of scheduled tour dates.
The former Spice Girl turned fashion mogul was quick to offer her support, commenting, “We are all so incredibly proud of you, Cruz.” Meanwhile, the football icon reshared the announcement to his Instagram Story, punctuated by a series of pink heart emojis. Victoria also featured the news on her personal Story, reiterating her pride in her son’s artistic journey.
This public display of family solidarity comes at a sensitive time. After months of intense speculation, Brooklyn Beckham recently confirmed a significant rift with his parents. In a detailed statement shared to his Instagram Story, he accused David and Victoria of “persistent interference” in his marriage to actress Nicola Peltz. “I am not being controlled; I am standing up for myself for the first time in my life,” Brooklyn stated, adding that he has no current desire to reconcile. He also raised grievances regarding the circumstances surrounding his wife’s wedding gown and his mother’s behavior during their nuptials.
The tension reportedly extends beyond personal disagreements. Brooklyn also leveled serious allegations involving his professional identity, claiming his parents attempted to use financial incentives to pressure him into relinquishing the rights to his own name.
While the elder sibling remains estranged, Cruz has remained firmly in his parents’ corner. When fans pointed out that the Beckhams had seemingly unfollowed Brooklyn on social media, Cruz clarified the situation, stating that the family had actually been blocked. “My mum and dad would never unfollow their son,” he wrote. “They simply woke up to find they were blocked… just like I was.”
While David and Victoria have avoided responding to Brooklyn’s specific claims, David recently touched upon the challenges of modern parenting during a talk-show appearance. He suggested that children must be allowed the grace to make their own mistakes as a necessary part of personal growth. “That is how they learn,” he remarked. “You have to let them navigate those moments themselves.”
