Crusader Kings 3 Heads East — Paradox Showcases Playthroughs Featuring Characters from China, Japan and Angkor

The developers are continuing to prepare new content.

Paradox Interactive is gradually unveiling what’s next for the grand strategy Crusader Kings III. Earlier updates covered China, Japan, and Southeast Asia; now the team invites players to watch a few playthroughs.

The developers have put together three character-driven tales from different regions:

“China in 1066, Japan in 1066, and Angkor in 867. We’ll walk you through the life of a single character in each region, highlighting the features that make them mechanically distinct from one another, and how those systems interact with the core gameplay loop players already know.”

The character portraits shown in the footage were taken from an earlier build and therefore do not reflect the final art quality.
