Cosplayer portrays a Necron Lychguard from the Warhammer 40,000 universe
Cosplayer KittiLittl has once again stepped into the role of a Lychguard from the Warhammer 40,000 universe, ready to annihilate any mortals bold enough to provoke the Necron Overlords and strike terror into the hearts of their many enemies.
Dedicated to the Necron devotees of the Warhammer 40,000 fandom, cosplayer KittiLittl and photographer Timofey “Tim·Tim Foto” Khanzhin have debuted a striking new gallery of images.
The model returns as a Lychguard—the quintessential elite guardian and loyal protector to the high-ranking nobility of this ancient, cybernetic race.
These relentless warriors possess frames of living metal that are far more durable than those of standard infantry, while their dispersion shields effortlessly parry both heavy melee swings and searing plasma fire.
Lychguards are hardwired with advanced engrammatic protocols that grant them significantly more autonomy than typical Necron Warriors or Immortals. This allows them to operate independently on the front lines and command vast legions should their master be absent from the field.
For armament, these elites typically favor warscythes—weapons that generate destabilizing energy fields to bypass and crumple armor—or hyperphase swords, which vibrate across dimensions to slice through physical shields and thick chitinous plates.
