TECHMARINE UPDATE – PATCH 12.0
The Techmarine Class
The arsenal expands with the arrival of the Techmarine class. This specialist brings the devastating Omnissian Axe to the front lines, alongside fresh perks, brutal finishers, and intricate new gameplay mechanics. For those fighting on the side of Chaos in PvP, you can now embody the Red Corsair Warpsmith wielding the Heretic Power Axe.

Post-Release Developer Note:
We have heard your feedback regarding the limited armor customization for the Techmarine at launch. To ensure the class played perfectly, we prioritized mechanical depth over cosmetic variety. Rest assured, we are already working on expanding his wardrobe; future updates will introduce a wide array of compatible armor components. Additionally, a hotfix is scheduled for next week to resolve stability issues and the “soft-lock” bug currently affecting the bridge sequence in the Disruption mission.
New Operation: Disruption
Patch 12.0 introduces “Disruption,” a high-stakes Operation set within the Ecclesiarchy District. Battle-brothers must hold back the dual threat of the Tyranid swarm and the treacherous Thousand Sons.
Mission Briefing:
Combat Squad Veridian is tasked with reinforcing Cadian battalions currently under siege. However, a dire warning from an Ecclesiarchy Priest has revealed a blasphemous ritual being conducted by the Thousand Sons in a nearby Cathedral. Both threats must be neutralized immediately to prevent a catastrophic collapse of Imperial operations across Avarax.

Season Pass II: Raven Guard Champion DLC
The Raven Guard legacy continues with a new Champion set tailored for the Assault Class. While designed as a complete look, many components are compatible across multiple classes:
- Helmet: All Classes
- Wargear: Tactical (Tabard) / Sniper (Cape)
- Left Pauldron: Tactical, Assault, Bulwark, Heavy
- Right Pauldron: Tactical, Assault, Vanguard, Bulwark, Sniper

FOCUS TOGETHER: PLAYER FEEDBACK
Game Director Dmitry Grigorenko provides insights on the most discussed community suggestions:
💡 Weapon Recolor Options: While weapon skins currently serve as rewards for Siege mode, we are planning to introduce more color options in future updates.
💡 Macragge Blue Variations: The Campaign uses bespoke shading and lighting techniques that are difficult to replicate in the highly modular PvE/PvP systems. However, we are tweaking the multiplayer palettes to more closely match the Campaign’s aesthetic.
💡 Assault Class Dash Attack: Significant improvements to the Dash Attack and general Assault class mobility were included in Patch 12.
💡 Battle Barge UI: We are working on a feature to make Battlefield Conditions visible directly on the Barge without opening sub-menus.
💡 Bot Customization: While we appreciate the interest in deeper bot customization, our primary focus remains on enhancing the online multiplayer experience.
💡 Knee Pad Insignias: Expanded chapter insignias for knee pads across founding and successor chapters are officially in the works!
💡 Imperial Guard Weaponry: We are planning to add more weapon variety for the Imperial Guard within the Siege mode.
