CMAT announced as headliner for Lido Festival London 2026
Irish pop artist CMAT will top the bill at Lido Festival’s 2026 edition, performing at Victoria Park on June 12.
CMAT — the moniker of Ciara Mary-Alice Thompson — has been named the headline act for Lido Festival’s 2026 run, taking the main stage on Friday, June 12, 2026. This marks the Dublin-born singer-songwriter’s first time headlining a U.K. festival.
After a breakthrough season that included standout sets at Glastonbury, All Points East and Green Man, CMAT’s profile has continued to rise as she moves from cult favorite to mainstream draw.

Recent releases and accolades
In August, CMAT released her third studio album, EURO-COUNTRY, through AWAL. The record climbed to No. 2 on the Official U.K. Albums Chart — her highest position to date — and helped secure a Mercury Prize nomination for 2025. She has since sold out shows across both the U.K. and the U.S.
EURO-COUNTRY follows 2023’s Crazymad For Me and her debut If My Wife Knew I’d Be Dead, each contributing to her swift ascent in the last few years.
About Lido Festival
The inaugural Lido Festival took place earlier this year at Victoria Park, attracting roughly 35,000 attendees per night and featuring headliners such as Charli XCX, Jamie xx, Massive Attack and London Grammar across two weeks. Named after the Lido Field, the event emphasizes sustainability and community programming during the festival week.
The festival’s second week will also feature electronic duo Maribou State, who are scheduled to headline the site on June 20, 2026.
