Channing Tatum Is Confident ‘Avengers: Judgment Day’ Will Be the Decade’s Highest-Grossing Film
The actor who portrays Gambit is confident the forthcoming Marvel crossover will be a triumph.
Channing Tatum, who plays Gambit in the upcoming blockbuster “Avengers: Judgment Day,” has once again discussed the project and promised audiences something genuinely spectacular.
“This film will be seen around the world. Marvel somehow manages to outdo itself every time. I reckon it will be the highest-grossing movie of next year — maybe even of the next decade. When I read the script, I thought, ‘How on earth are they going to film this?’ It felt like climbing Everest. I’m still absolutely exhilarated.”
According to Tatum, Gambit won’t sit on the sidelines — he’ll be deeply involved in the battles. The actor also revealed he faced gruelling physical demands shooting the action scenes, and one sequence even left him with an injury to the tendon behind his knee.
