Celine Dion is speaking up on International Stiff Person Syndrome Awareness Day.

The Grammy-winning vocalist, 55, required to social media sites on Friday (March 15) to share words of inspiration and reveal her admiration to followers after being detected with the unusual neurological problem in recent times.

“Today the world recognizes International SPS Awareness Day,” Dion composed on Instagram along with a picture of her grinning with her 3 boys. “As many of you know, in the fall of 2022, I was diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS). Trying to overcome this autoimmune disorder has been one of the hardest experiences of my life, but I remain determined to one day get back onto the stage and to live as normal of a life as possible. I am deeply grateful for the love and support from my kids, family, team and all of you!”

She proceeded, “I want to send my encouragement and support to all those around the world that have been affected by SPS. I want you to know you can do it! We can do it!”

Since December 2022, the “My Heart Will Go On” vocalist has actually stayed greatly out of the general public eye as a result of her medical diagnosis with rigid individual disorder, an uncommon neurological problem recognized for creating unchecked muscular tissue convulsions that make it tough to relocate. Dion was compelled to hold off every one of her 2023 scenic tour days, prior to eventually terminating the remainder of her scenic tour completely. Last December, her sis Claudette exposed that Celine had “no control” of her muscular tissues.

Dion made a shock look at the 2024 Grammy Awards in February, offering the desired cd of the year tropy to Taylor Swift for Midnights. As the group supported for her go back to the general public eye, the “Power of Love” vocalist praised them right back. “Thank you all,” she stated, revealing no indicators of weak point. “I love you right back. When I say that I’m happy to be here, I really mean it from my heart.”
