Being a mother hasn’t dampened Cardi B’s flair for fashion—though it has created some humorous tension with her 7-year-old daughter, Kulture, who has developed a penchant for raiding her mother’s wardrobe.

In a candid conversation with E! News published this Wednesday (May 20), the superstar addressed whether her priorities shifted after having children. True to her unfiltered form, she dismissed the notion entirely. “It hasn’t,” she stated bluntly. “Forget that; they haven’t changed me at all.”

The Grammy-winning artist emphasized that self-expression remains a core part of her identity. “I love dressing up and feeling fantastic,” she explained. “When you look your best, it inspires you to get out there, tackle your work, and fully engage with the world.”

However, Cardi does draw a line when it comes to her children’s environment. “I’m not going to show up at my daughter’s school wearing a sheer top or something revealing,” she shared.

This interview coincides with Cardi’s new partnership with the luxury resale platform Fashionphile. In a fresh commercial, the rapper highlights how the service is ideal for those looking to offload high-end bags, jewelry, and watches—even those gifted by former flames.

While she embraces the resale market, she remains protective of her own collection. Kulture may eventually become a customer, but for now, she is restricted from accessing her mother’s prized accessories. “She’s constantly in my closet, and it’s exhausting,” Cardi joked. “She knows the rules: clothes and shoes are fair game, but the purses are off-limits. She already ruined one with a marker!”

Cardi’s latest venture follows the massive success of her Little Miss Drama Tour, which reportedly generated over $70 million in revenue and sold nearly half a million tickets. The tour supported her chart-topping sophomore album, Am I the Drama?, which made a splash when it debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 last October.
