Los Angeles Lakers forward Ziaire Williams proposed to his longtime girlfriend, model Paris Timan, during Bruno Mars’ Oct. 2 concert at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, while the singer performed “Marry You.”

As Mars sang the 2010 track, Williams presented Timan with a ring while confetti fell around them. Timan became emotional and accepted the proposal, and the couple embraced as the crowd cheered and appeared on the stadium video screens.

SoFi Stadium posted footage of the moment on Instagram with the caption, “It really was a beautiful night,” accompanied by a teary-eyed emoji and a ring emoji.

The proposal took place during the second of five shows for Mars at SoFi Stadium on The Romantic Tour, which supports his fourth solo album, The Romantic.

“Marry You” originally appeared on Mars’ 2010 debut album, Doo-Wops & Hooligans. The song reached No. 85 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2011 and remains a popular choice for weddings and proposals.

Mars is currently experiencing a successful return following a nearly decade-long absence from solo releases. The Romantic debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 as his first solo album since 2016’s 24K Magic. Lead single “I Just Might” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, marking his 10th chart leader and first No. 1 debut.

Mars has also charted with “Risk It All,” the opening track of The Romantic, and “Dance With Me,” the closing track and music video starring Karol G, which debuted at No. 42 on the Hot 100.
