Just hours after its Early Access debut, the automotive survival simulator My Winter Car reached a peak of over 21,000 concurrent players, according to data from SteamDB.
For the sake of comparison, its predecessor My Summer Car launched with fewer than six thousand simultaneous players. However, that title eventually went on to amass nearly 100,000 user reviews, with a 94% “Very Positive” rating.
At the time of writing, My Winter Car has already secured approximately 1,700 reviews, the vast majority of which are overwhelmingly positive. Interestingly, some fans admit they haven’t spent much time with the game yet, but are eager to recommend it to ensure it reaches a wider audience.
In My Winter Car, players are tasked with meticulously assembling a vehicle by hand while simultaneously contending with hunger, financial struggles, and the biting cold of the Finnish wilderness.
