Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden Welcome Third Child: ‘Welcome to the World’

Benji Madden and Cameron Diaz have expanded their family. On Monday, May 4, the Good Charlotte musician shared the joyous news that he and the acclaimed actress have welcomed their third child together.

Through an Instagram post featuring a collection of artistic illustrations, Madden announced that he and Diaz are “overjoyed, thrilled, and feel incredibly blessed to welcome our third child, Nautas Madden.”

“Welcome to the world, our son!” the rocker added. “We are embracing life as a family of five; our children are healthy and thriving, and we feel profoundly grateful for this chapter. We are absolutely loving this journey. Sending our best to all—The Madden Family.”

The post highlighted a graphic designed as a stylized trading card, showcasing a majestic pirate ship above the baby’s name. The caption provided insight into the moniker, noting the Latin root Nauta: “Meaning: Sailor, navigator, voyager. One who embarks on a journey and fears not the unknown.”

Diaz celebrated the arrival in the comments section with a heartfelt array of heart and sparkle emojis.

The couple, who wed in January 2015, are already parents to their daughter, Raddix (born 2019), and their son, Cardinal (born 2024).

Last year, as they commemorated a decade of marriage—and coinciding with Diaz’s highly anticipated return to acting in the Netflix feature Back in Action—Madden paid a touching tribute to his partner on social media. Reflecting on their life together, he described her as his “wife, mommy, friend, partner, boss, and lover,” noting that with every passing year, their bond grows more fulfilling and authentically beautiful.

In addition to his family news, 2025 has been a busy year for the musician. Good Charlotte released Motel du Cap, their first studio album in seven years, and Madden served as a guest advisor on The Voice, teaming up with his longtime friend and coach, Adam Levine.
