PLAYISM and solo developer MercuryStudio have released BREAK ARTS III Ver. 2.0. The update changes the battle flow, refreshes the interface and adds new content for the mech customization action game.
The attack and shield systems have been revised to make battles easier to read. Shields now use a constantly regenerating gauge, while kicking has been adjusted to work as a more practical attack option. The update also relaxes weight restrictions, so players can build a wider range of machines without being pushed as hard by stat limits.
The match interface now shows opponents’ ranking, abilities, health and energy. A minimap collects surrounding information in one place, which should make decisions quicker during races and battles.
Ver. 2.0 adds three Extra Grand Prix events, new achievements, new plugins with special abilities, balance changes, an updated tutorial and multiplayer fixes. A bonus track has also been added to the BREAK ARTS III soundtrack on Steam.
BREAK ARTS III is available on PC through Steam. The game supports single-player and online multiplayer for 2 to 6 players, with English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese listed among supported languages. The update arrives alongside a 20% Steam discount for the game and soundtrack.
