Developers are supporting more than just Diablo IV.
In October, Blizzard Entertainment announced the start of a new ranked season for Diablo II: Resurrected:
“The 12th ranked season offers a renewed opportunity to enter the leaderboard race: sprint to level 99 and outfit yourself with powerful gear. We’re excited to find out who among you will have the resolve to break into the rankings this time!”
As usual, several play modes are available — “Normal” and “Hardcore,” the latter granting characters a single life. You can opt for the four-act campaign or the expanded five-act experience that includes the Lord of Destruction DLC.
