Benny Blanco’s Mother Survives Frightening Home Invasion in Studio City
Updated

Sandra Levin, the mother of producer and songwriter Benny Blanco, was the victim of a terrifying attempted burglary at her Studio City, California, home earlier this week. Local reports indicate intruders forced their way into the residence while Levin was inside alone; according to ABC7, she was not physically harmed. Neighbors and property records subsequently confirmed the address.
The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed the location and the circumstances surrounding the break-in but did not publicly name Levin when contacted by Billboard on Nov. 26. Authorities said the suspects entered after smashing a sliding glass door.
Levin reportedly barricaded herself in a bathroom and called 911 after hearing movement in the house. NBC Los Angeles reported that the intruders went upstairs and opened a bedroom door; when Levin briefly peered out, the suspects saw her and fled. By the time officers arrived—around 9:15 p.m.—the suspects had already left the scene. Levin told police the intruders had kicked the bathroom door off its hinges during the incident.
Before leaving, the burglars ransacked several rooms and took unspecified property. The LAPD described the suspects as two men wearing dark clothing and masks; there is no indication they have been identified or apprehended. Investigations have been turned over to detectives, and no arrests had been reported at the time of the latest update.
As of the most recent reports, Benny Blanco had not publicly commented about the incident on his social channels.
