Bendy’s Nightmare Run Returns to Smartphones Years After Removal
Joey Drew Studios has re-released Bendy’s Nightmare Run, bringing the mobile spin-off of Bendy and the Ink Machine back to iOS and Android as a free download.
The runner tasks players with fleeing from cartoon monsters, dodging hazards, and fighting back against pursuing bosses using items picked up throughout the stages.
Four episodes are available at launch, each featuring unique environments and enemies. Stages take players through tropical islands, city streets, a junkyard, and a library. Each episode contains five levels, and beating them unlocks a Nightmare Mode focused on endless high-score chasing.
Players can choose between Bendy, Boris, and Alice. Progressing through the stages earns experience points and bacon soup, the in-game currency required to unlock upgrades and extra content.
Bendy’s Nightmare Run is free to play and includes in-app purchases. Joey Drew Studios plans to support the game with future updates that will add an endless mode, player profiles, leaderboards, seasonal events, new costumes, additional episodes, and more bosses.
