Battlefield 6 Update 1.2.3.0

Battlefield 6 receives its latest major update, version 1.2.3.0, on April 14. This patch introduces a wealth of fresh content, most notably the “Operation Augur” limited-time mode, the versatile LTV transport vehicle, the lethal Ripper 14” melee blade, and a dedicated Battle Pass Bonus Path.

Deployment Schedule:

  • 09:00 UTC: Update 1.2.3.0 becomes available for download across all platforms.
  • 12:00 UTC: All new content, including the game mode, gear, and Battle Pass rewards, goes live.

Beyond the new additions, this update addresses a broad spectrum of improvements spanning gameplay, progression, UI, audio, and Portal functionality to provide a more polished and fluid experience.

NEW CONTENT

Battle Pass Bonus Path
Prepare for the escalating conflict with the new Bonus Path, featuring specialized gear and cosmetics tailored for high-stakes survival. These rewards are designed to keep you combat-effective in the game’s most unforgiving environments.

Limited-Time Mode: Operation Augur
The struggle for Hagental Base intensifies as NATO launches an all-out offensive to reclaim its satellite defense network from Pax Armata. This multi-phase, large-scale battle bridges two maps—Contaminated and Hagental Base. Attackers can utilize VL-7 smoke to break through defensive lines, leading to a high-intensity, close-quarters finish that demands strict tactical coordination and squad-based discipline.

New Vehicle: The LTV
The NATO-variant Traverser Mark 2 (LTV) arrives as a critical frontline asset. Designed to keep four-man squads mobile and sustained, this vehicle functions as a mobile spawn point and includes integrated health and ammo resupply stations.

New Weapon: The Ripper 14”
Unlockable via the Hunter/Prey Battle Pass progression, this aggressive blade is built for visceral, close-quarters engagements. It is fast, unforgiving, and perfect for players who prefer to settle disputes at arm’s length.

New Training Path: Hazmat Breacher
Assault players in Battle Royale can now adopt the Hazmat Breacher path. By wielding a Breaching Dart Launcher equipped with concentrated VL-7 smoke, you can displace entrenched enemies while your Protective Mask mitigates environmental threats. Progressing this path enhances mask durability and overall soldier survivability.

KEY UPDATE HIGHLIGHTS

  • Progression Overhaul: Weapon and Vehicle XP are now awarded for active participation, not just final blows. Experience rates have been slightly boosted across Multiplayer, while Battle Royale and Gauntlet progression now reward time spent in-match and provide increased scoring for kills and assists.
  • Refined Combat Feedback: Audio cues for incoming fire are clearer, and the readouts for rapid damage and network status are more intuitive.
  • Gadget Polish: Significant balance adjustments have been applied to Defibrillators, Med Pens, and various attachments to improve overall consistency.
  • Expanded Portal Support: Creators gain the new “Portal Gadget,” offering deeper logic control for custom experiences, alongside expanded bot support.

DEFIBRILLATOR BALANCE REWORK

To curb the “infinite revive” meta, we are transitioning the Defibrillator to a charge-based system similar to classic Battlefield titles. You now start with three charges, which regenerate over time. Revive health scales based on the charge duration (50% to 100%), and fully charged zaps can once again deliver 100 damage to enemies. A new crosshair UI has been implemented to help you time your revives perfectly.

Note: This update is subject to change based on community feedback. We remain committed to evolving the Battlefield 6 experience alongside our players.
