Deploying on Tuesday, March 31, Update 1.2.2.5 introduces a suite of refinements aimed at enhancing gameplay stability and resolving persistent technical hitches. This patch targets various graphical anomalies, streamlines the matchmaking process for social play, and delivers essential fixes for the REDSEC mode, map environments, and the user interface.

PATCH NOTES

WEAPON ATTACHMENTS

  • Fixed a clipping issue where the character’s hand could obstruct the sightline when utilizing certain variable-magnification optics.

MATCHMAKING

  • Resolved a technical hurdle that prevented users from joining a friend’s active session via the Steam overlay.

MAPS & GAME MODES

  • Spectator Mode: Corrected a visual bug where Night Vision (NVG) filters would erroneously persist when cycling through different player perspectives.
  • Eastwood: Fixed a missing asset issue where the PAX faction’s C-RAM defensive emplacements were not rendering correctly.
  • Hagental Base: Removed redundant character models that occasionally appeared behind the active squad during the pre-match deployment sequence.

REDSEC

  • Restored the functionality for players to automatically retrieve grenades while scavenging.
  • Addressed a bug that caused newly spawned loot items to prematurely despawn from the environment.
