Battlefield 6: March Anticheat Metrics

Battlefield 6: March Anticheat Metrics

Greetings, Soldier,

It is time for our latest briefing on the ongoing mission to uphold fair play across the battlefield.

March marked the halfway point of Season 2, a period characterized by a strategic evolution in our landscape. Historically, we observe heightened activity from both bad actors and cheat developers during the transition between seasonal content updates. During these intervals, our Anti-Cheat teams recalibrate their efforts—pivoting from active enforcement to fortifying our detection systems—ensuring a consistent and stable experience for our community.

March: Performance Metrics & Impact

Anti-Cheat Progress Report

Match Infection Rate (MIR): This metric represents the percentage of matches compromised by at least one suspected cheater. This data accounts for all potential bad actors, even those currently under investigation for whom we are gathering definitive evidence.

Throughout March, our MIR began at a monthly low of 2.53%. We saw a steady climb toward a peak of 3.27% on March 30th, with our most stable performance recorded at 2.30% on the 25th. By the dawn of April, the rate had settled at 2.97%. While we deployed several targeted detection updates during this window, our primary focus remains on stockpiling countermeasures to neutralize anticipated threats ahead of the Season 3 launch.

In March alone, the EA Javelin Anti-Cheat system successfully blocked 333,832 attempts to manipulate or tamper with our game files before they could disrupt the experience for others. We continue to monitor 226 distinct cheat programs, hardware exploits, and vendor networks. Currently, 217 of these entities (96.01%) are experiencing significant feature degradation, widespread detection notices, or total service outages.

Stay vigilant, play with honor, and we will see you on the front lines.
