Framework, the Los Angeles-based powerhouse behind some of the most influential dance music events, has unveiled the high-octane lineup for its fifth annual Coachella-adjacent marathon, Framework In the Desert.
Scheduled to take place during the opening weekend of Coachella 2026 (April 10–12), the three-night residency features a curated roster of global heavyweights. The festivities ignite on Friday night with a headlining DJ set from Disclosure, supported by a high-energy b2b session from Kettama and Prospa, as well as sets by Riordan and Azzeca.
Saturday’s programming shifts gears with Brazilian sensation Mochakk taking center stage, accompanied by industrial techno veteran Boys Noize and a family affair from Max Dean b2b Luke Dean. The weekend culminates on Sunday with a headline performance by trance icon Armin Van Buuren, joined by Marlon Hoffstadt, Chloé Caillet, and Bullet Tooth.
The sonic experience will be centered around the Long Feng Art Car, a massive mobile stage that made its debut at Burning Man in 2024. After making its first appearance outside the Playa at Framework’s 2025 desert showcase, the art car returns as the focal point for this year’s performances.
Located at Atlantic Aviation, a private airstrip in Thermal, California, the venue sits approximately eight miles from the Empire Polo Club. Framework In the Desert 2026 is produced in collaboration with Las Vegas’ Wynn Nightlife, CUSP, and Corso Marketing Group.
Ticket Information & Crossover Appearances
Prospective attendees can access the ticket presale on March 5 at 10 a.m. PT, followed by the general public sale at noon PT on the same day. Given the proximity and timing, there is significant overlap between the Framework roster and the main festival bill. Armin Van Buuren is slated to command the Quasar stage during Coachella’s second weekend, while Mochakk is booked for both festival Sundays. Boys Noize will also perform at the main event as part of the “Nine Inch Noize” collaboration with Nine Inch Nails.
Other artists appearing at both Framework and Coachella include Azzeca, Disclosure, Marlon Hoffstadt, the Dean cousins, Prospa, Chloé Caillet, and Riordan. Following a massive 2025 installment that drew an estimated 14,000 guests, Framework In the Desert continues to solidify its status as the premier off-site destination for electronic music enthusiasts in the Coachella Valley.
