Ariana Grande Reveals ‘Petal’ Alternate Disc and Haunting Song Snippets: ‘Good Luck on Your Way to Hell’

Ariana Grande Teases Upcoming Album ‘Petal’ with New Song Samples and Exclusive Vinyl

Ariana Grande is heightening the anticipation for her forthcoming studio album, Petal, by treating her fanbase to a behind-the-scenes look at the project. The pop icon recently unveiled a special edition picture disc and offered a glimpse into her creative process with two ethereal, unreleased song snippets.

In an Instagram update shared on Wednesday (July 8), the singer posted a carousel featuring a striking monochromatic portrait, which is currently available as part of an exclusive vinyl release on her official store.

The post also included two candid studio clips. In the first, Grande showcases her signature vocal layering, singing, “Good things can replace dysfunction, obsession / Thanks but I’ll see you right out / Good luck on your way to hell / Oh, well.” Fans have speculated that these poignant lines may belong to the track “Oh Well,” which Grande previously teased during her Eternal Sunshine Tour.

A second snippet highlighted her haunting, stripped-back vocal arrangements: “Someday all the seeds will open / All of the human life I’ve dreamt of / Will be real if I start over / How will it feel?”

Petal marks the highly awaited follow-up to her chart-topping 2024 album, Eternal Sunshine. With a scheduled release date of July 31, expectations are high following the massive success of the lead single, “Hate That I Made You Love Me,” which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
