American Truck Simulator Adds HDR and Improves Gas Stations for New Trucks — Update 1.57 Beta Testing Begins

The developers are preparing the map to accommodate new vehicle models.

The team behind the trucking simulator American Truck Simulator has announced the release of beta update 1.57.

HDR support has been added to American Truck Simulator: this feature enhances the visual output, allowing players with HDR-capable monitors or TVs to enjoy richer colors and improved contrast.

The brightness control was also revised — it now offers finer adjustment over visual parameters:

The ATS developers have applied “minor changes to existing gas stations” — part of the preparations for adding vehicles tied to the Road Trip content.

To join the beta, open American Truck Simulator’s Properties on Steam and select “Open Beta for game version 1.57” from the Betas tab.
