Two weeks ahead of launch, Cold Iron Studios has introduced the fifth of six classes for Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2: the medic, who can heal and buff allies while poisoning Xenomorphs using a Poison Station.

With two weeks remaining until the release of Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2, Cold Iron Studios has introduced the fifth of six classes, the medic. Alongside healing the team, this class can buff allies and set traps.

The Combat Stimulant can be upgraded to Adrenaline Rush, which increases damage resistance and grants immunity to knockback. Overclock increases fire rate and speeds up reloading. When upgraded to the Amp Station, the Advanced Trauma Station further boosts damage resistance and outgoing damage.

The Poison Station turns the medic into a trap specialist. Enemies caught in its radius take damage over time, and the energy gained is multiplied by five. For close-quarters combat, the X1 Flamethrower and Type 21 Mk. 2 Tactical Shotgun are available.

Perks include Bedside Manner, which allows the player to revive fallen teammates twice as fast, and Surgeon’s Hands, which grants immunity to knockback while reviving and using items.

Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 will be released on August 25, 2026, for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. The game will launch on Nintendo Switch 2 in the fall. Only one class remains: the specialist.
