After 14 Years, Minecraft Fan Reaches the Far Lands in Survival Mode

The journey through the blocky world proved to be very long.

An epic expedition by a player recently came to an end — he set out to reach the so-called Far Lands, the most distant region of the game’s world.

KurtJMac played Minecraft Beta 1.7.3 in Survival mode and slowly made his way across the map. He has been sharing his adventures on YouTube since 2011 — you can watch the first episode here.

At the same time, KurtJMac organized charity fundraisers and over the years managed to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars.

KurtJMac was previously featured in the Guinness World Records as the person who completed the longest journey in Minecraft.
