The project reached this significant milestone in approximately four months.

Shape of Dreams debuted on Steam on September 11, 2025, and rapidly captured the community’s attention. Within its first two weeks, the title surpassed 500,000 copies sold, secured a spot among the top ten highest-grossing weekly releases, and achieved a concurrent player peak of over 45,000.

Publisher Neowiz recently announced that total sales for Shape of Dreams have officially exceeded one million units—a feat accomplished in just about four months. The developers at Lizard Smoothie posted a message on Steam expressing their gratitude to the player base, noting that the game “entered 2026 with a milestone of particular importance to the team.” The studio added that the project’s “journey will continue” into the new year, with plans to further develop and expand the world of Shape of Dreams.

Shape of Dreams seamlessly blends action-RPG mechanics with roguelike elements and cooperative play. The game features eight distinct heroes, each with their own fighting styles and progression paths, alongside eight diverse worlds populated by formidable bosses and concealed areas. Players can tackle the challenge solo or team up in co-op for up to four people.

Additionally, the developers shared on Discord that they are exploring the possibility of bringing the game to consoles, although specific platforms and release windows have not yet been finalized.
