A shooter with an 84% rating has been added to Xbox Game Pass today
Abyssus is now available on Xbox Game Pass. This cooperative roguelite shooter holds an 84 percent rating on Steam and challenges up to four players to explore the sunken ruins of an alternate 19th century.
Previously a PC exclusive, the first-person shooter combines rapid combat with roguelite mechanics.
The game features a unique brinepunk setting. Players take on the role of a mercenary navigating the ruins of a lost civilization. The world draws inspiration from the myths of Atlantis alongside Incan and Aztec cultures. Explorers search through submerged temples and cities to uncover ancient powers.
Gameplay focuses on fast-paced encounters, weapon modifications, and ability upgrades. As with other roguelite games, death forces a restart. Players then encounter randomized bonuses and altered environments on each new run.
You can play Abyssus solo or join a cooperative squad of four. Steam users have awarded the title a very positive reception, maintaining that 84 percent score.
