12 Minutes of Hunger Gameplay — PvPvE Extraction Shooter-Slasher with Monsters in Napoleonic Europe
Concepts from Escape from Tarkov continue to appear in a variety of formats.
IGN recently released 12 minutes of pre-alpha gameplay for Hunger. It’s another PvPvE extraction title.
In Hunger the creators fuse shooter and slasher mechanics. The setting is a plague-stricken “Napoleonic Europe” where various monsters roam.
Players must scavenge for supplies, survive, and extract successfully; the game includes a progression system:
“Although there’s a risk of losing gear and weapons, every bit of experience contributes to raising the survivor’s level. Each survivor has unique passive, tactical, and special abilities, plus a mastery tree with more than 100 talents to choose from.”
