Yakuza crew’s Judgement will get June launch date

Judgement, the brand new game from the Yakuza crew (Ryu ga Gotoku) at Sega, has an official launch date within the West.

Judgement was first revealed at TGS last year as Project Judge, or Judge Eyes in Japan. The game was later confirmed for launch in Western territories as Judgement.

Today, Sega confirmed in a tweet a June 25 worldwide launch date on PS4. Interestingly, gamers who pre-order the game digitally will achieve entry on June 21, 4 days forward of the official launch. Pre-orders can be out there tomorrow starting 6am PT, 9am ET, 2pm UK.

Unlike Yakuza, Judgement is absolutely localised in English, although you’ll be capable of swap between localised VO, and the Japanese authentic freely.

Judgement tells the story of Takayuki Yagami, a defence-attorney-turned-private-detective who should navigate the prison underworld in seek for clues as he hunts down a serial killer. The game takes place within the fictional district of Kamurocho, initially created for Yakuza.

When you’re not investigating a case or analysing proof, you’ll be beating up loads of criminals. Judgement borrows from Yakuza, that includes two distinct fight kinds, and highly effective EX strikes.
