A brand new restricted documentary collection on Wu-Tang Clan has been acquired by Showtime. The first two episodes of “Wu-Tang Clan: Of Mics and Men,” directed by Sacha Jenkins, will premiere at Sundance on January 28. The full 4 half collection is about to air on Showtime later this spring. The collection seems to be on the rise of the seminal rap group, that includes interviews with every of its 9 residing members. “Wu-Tang Clan” is produced by Mass Appeal in affiliation with Endeavor Content. Peter J. Scalettar, Peter Bittenbender and Chris Gary function government producers. Jenkins has directed Fresh Dressed, Burn Motherfucker, Burn!, and government produced Netflix’s “Rapture.”

Jenkins’ “Wu-Tang Clan” follows the current Shomi Patwary-directed documentary on the group’s debut album, For The Children: 25 Years of Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers). Wu-Tang Clan is about to embark on a UK tour with Public Enemy and De La Soul this May.
