When Shadowlands arrives this fall, altering your World of Warcraft character’s gender will now not price you actual cash.
Blizzard has revealed that World of Warcraft‘s Appearance Change, which is currently a store item that costs $15, won’t exist after the launch of Shadowlands.
Appearance Change is at present the one method to change your character’s gender. Unlike different options like hair and face, it’s the one one which prices cash. With the arrival of Shadowlands, Blizzard is including gender change to the checklist of issues you’ll be able to tweak at a barber store.
“A long time ago, we had the ability for players to go in – it was actually a paid service – and change their character. Much of that is now in the barber shop in the game,” govt producer John Hight advised Eurogamer.
“And as we were adding things up in Shadowlands, we realised, ‘Gosh the only way you can change your gender in World of Warcraft is to go through this paid service.’ And we felt like that’s not the right message.”
The Shadowlands beta kicks off subsequent week, with the complete enlargement set to launch later this fall.
