Wink has begun filming Sergei Lukyanenko’s “Knights of the Forty Islands”
Production has officially commenced in Moscow on the new science fiction series from Wink, Knights of the Forty Islands. This project serves as a screen adaptation of the acclaimed novel by Sergei Lukyanenko, best known for his Night Watch series.
The narrative follows a group of teenagers thrust into the enigmatic realm of the Forty Islands, a place consumed by an unrelenting, brutal conflict where everyone fights for survival.
The ensemble cast features Artyom Koshman, Polina Gukhman, Veronika Ustimova, Oleg Savostyuk, Nikita Kologrivy, and Mikhail Porechenkov, among others. Lukyanenko has personally adapted the screenplay and is serving as a creative producer for the series. All episodes are being directed by Kim Druzhinin (Centuria).
A specific premiere date for Knights of the Forty Islands has yet to be announced.
