Academy Award winner Will Smith is set to headline Supermax, an upcoming thriller directed by Halloween filmmaker David Gordon Green and produced by Amazon MGM.
The narrative centers on two FBI agents tasked with investigating a homicide within the world’s most secure prison facility. The screenplay was crafted by David Weil and David J. Rosen, the creative minds behind the series Hunters. Production is slated to commence this August.
Smith was most recently seen on the big screen in the 2024 action hit Bad Boys: Ride or Die. He is also attached to reprise his role in the highly anticipated sequel to the horror film I Am Legend.
