Who will play two roles in Nolan’s “Odyssey” has been revealed
Director Christopher Nolan has officially announced the actress tapped to portray dual roles in his highly anticipated epic, “The Odyssey.”
Academy Award winner Lupita Nyong’o (“12 Years a Slave,” “Black Panther”) will take on the challenging task of bringing two iconic figures from Homer’s poem to life: Helen of Troy and her sister, Clytemnestra.
The film’s star-studded ensemble also features Matt Damon as Odysseus, Anne Hathaway as his wife Penelope, Tom Holland as their son Telemachus, Robert Pattinson as the antagonist Antinous, Charlize Theron as the nymph Calypso, and Zendaya as the goddess Athena, among others.
“The Odyssey” is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on July 17. The film’s official trailer is already available for viewing.
