What’s up with Assassin’s Creed: Origins’ big snake?

After Assassin’s Creed: Origins’ reveal trailer at Microsoft’s convention this E3, one query a whole lot of followers had was: what’s up with that big snake on the finish? Is AC going full Conan the Barbarian?

Everything we know about Assassin’s Creed Origins suggests there is no magic concerned. But you by no means know…

That query was put to sport director Ashraf Ismail by Game Informer towards the tip of this interview. He’s eager to emphasize that AC will not be going full fantasy:

“AC is a really credible expertise and we firmly decide to that, we don’t bounce the shark. But we’re in Egypt, and it has a whole lot of mysticism round it, and we wished to discover a option to carry that to the expertise. What I’ll say is that individuals will perceive it once they expertise it – don’t fear, we’re not breaking the credibility. It’s justified, we don’t randomly throw fantasy stuff into the expertise that’s not defined.”

Dream sequence, then? That’d be our guess, presumably fuelled by an hallucinogen. If you missed the trailer, it is here.
