Blink-182 lately cancelled their fall tour due to drummer Travis Barker’s medical issues. In their place as headliners for Chicago’s Riot Fest, Weezer, Taking Back Sunday, and Run the Jewels have been scheduled to play. During final night time’s Weezer set, Rivers Cuomo and the band paid homage to Blink-182 with a canopy of their 1999 hit “All the Small Things.” Watch it beneath.
Cuomo performed an acoustic cover of the monitor on Thursday, saying “Weezer always has Blink’s back.” In 2009, they joined Blink-182 on the highway for his or her reunion tour. Weezer’s “All the Small Things” cowl follows their hit rendition of Toto’s “Africa,” which was later launched on a restricted version 7” vinyl single. Toto returned the favor and performed “Hash Pipe” throughout a present in Vancouver.
