A line of solid electrical storms, with wind gusts of approximately 60 miles per hour (regarding 97 kph), triggered coordinators of the 2023 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival to postpone the Saturday (May 6) opening up at the Fair Grounds by at the very least 2 hrs.

In a statement on Twitter, the celebration informed festgoers to “stay tuned” to learn more and also “See you this afternoon!”
