“We Got Scammed!” Hearts of Iron 4 Fans Blast Paradox Again — Expansion Merged Into Base Game
Hearts of Iron IV enthusiasts now have another reason for frustration.
The team behind the grand strategy Hearts of Iron IV recently outlined their plans for upcoming updates. The developers announced they will fold the Man the Guns expansion into the base game with the release of “No Compromise, No Surrender.”
The announcement wasn’t met with universal approval. Man the Guns’ Steam rating began to decline after a surge of negative reviews, leaving recent feedback classified as “mostly negative.”
Members of the community argue that Paradox Interactive “took players’ money and are now saying you can buy it, but it will soon be included in the base game.” They object to the fact that current DLC owners were not offered any compensation.
