Watch Halle Bailey’s Son Halo’s Birth Video in Celebration of Her First Mother’s Day

This Mother’s Day is an unique one for Halle Bailey: It’s her initial as a mother adhering to the arrival of her infant Halo a couple of months back. And to commemorate, the singer shared a raw video clip from her kid’s birth using Instagram on Sunday (May 12), together with clips from her initial couple of weeks of parenthood.
In the reel, Bailey holds her newborn while still stocking her medical facility bed, probably simply minutes after inviting her kid. Another shot reveals her sweetheart and Halo’s daddy, rap artist DDG, nestling the small infant young boy.
As the video clip takes place, Halo grows and larger via different shots of the Little Mermaid celebrity snuggling her kid. In one clip, the infant grabs at her confront with his little hands, and in one more, she holds him alongside a drum embeded in a recording workshop.

Bailey initially revealed she would certainly end up being a moms and dad onJan 6. “Even though we’re a few days into the new year, the greatest thing that 2023 could have done for me, was bring me my son,” she composed on social networks at the time. “Welcome to the world my halo. Last month, the “Angel” vocalist opened regarding her experience with postpartum anxiety, exposing in a Snapchat video clip, “I have severe, severe postpartum [depression], and I don’t know if any new moms can relate, but it’s to the point where it’s really bad, and it’s hard for me to be separated from my baby for more than 30 minutes at a time before I start to kind of freak out.”
“When I look at him, I cry because of how special he is,” she included. “The only thing that’s been hard for me is feeling normal in my own body. I feel like a completely different person. When I look in the mirror, I just feel like I’m in a whole new body. Like, I don’t know who I am.”
Though he’s just a few months old, Halo is currently a video celebrity. In the April- launched aesthetic for “In Your Hands,” Bailey holds her kid while belting the brand-new track.
