Warrior of Light Destroys Enemies in New Final Fantasy Resonance Trailer

Square Enix has released a new trailer for Final Fantasy Resonance spotlighting the Warrior of Light from the first game in the series. The hero fights in the signature HD-2D style, calling down spears of pure light from the skies capable of wiping out entire groups of enemies, ahead of the game’s release on October 22 for Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, PC, and PS5.

Square Enix showcased a new trailer for Final Fantasy Resonance dedicated to the Warrior of Light from the first installment of the series. The video combines animation with a demonstration of the hero’s abilities in the game’s signature HD-2D style.

Players will be able to journey to the Sanctuary of Light, where they will receive support from the Warrior of Light. He will not limit himself to blessings and will personally join the battles to help worthy warriors.

The hero descends from the skies and creates spears of pure light. They pierce the ground and strike enemies caught in the path of the attack. The ability looks destructive enough to wipe out entire groups of opponents.

Final Fantasy Resonance will be released on October 22, 2026, for Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PC, and PS5. Square Enix promises to show more characters before launch.
