Warner Bros. to Release New Western by Park Chan-wook
Clockwork, the newly established independent label under Warner Bros., has secured the distribution rights for the upcoming film by acclaimed Korean director Park Chan-wook.
The project, a western titled Brigands of Rattlecreek, was first announced in 2019 and officially revived in late April. The star-studded cast features Matthew McConaughey, Pedro Pascal, Austin Butler, and Tang Wei. The story follows a sheriff and a doctor who join forces to confront a ruthless gang of outlaws terrorizing a small town.
The screenplay was penned by S. Craig Zahler, known for his work on Bone Tomahawk and Dragged Across Concrete. While an official release date has yet to be set, Clockwork has also previously announced the distribution of Sean Baker’s new film, Ti Amo!
