Warhammer 40,000 and Horus Heresy Custodian Pre-Orders Open October 3

Players will have the opportunity this week to pre-order new Adeptus Custodes miniature sets that can be used in both Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer: The Horus Heresy, including Aquilon Terminators, the Telemon Heavy Dreadnought, and the Pallas Grav-attack.

Games Workshop announced that pre-orders for Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer: The Horus Heresy will open on October 3, 2026. Fans will be able to purchase the Aquilon Terminator Sodality set, which contains six miniatures in Aquilon Terminator armor.

These models can be equipped with Lastrum storm bolters, Solerite power fists, Solerite gauntlets, adrastite combi-destructors, and flamers. A set featuring the Telemon Heavy Dreadnought will also be released. It includes a Telemon caestus, an adrastic destructor, an arachnus storm cannon, and an iliastus accelerator Culverin.

Additionally, a set containing two Custodian Guard on Pallas grav-bikes will be available, armed with Lastrum storm bolters, adrastite cannons, arachnus cannons, and Corvae las-pulsars. A separate box for the Pallas grav-attack will also be offered. All of these listed boxes can be used in both Warhammer 40,000 and The Horus Heresy.

A number of recent Custodes sets for Warhammer: The Horus Heresy will be re-released in new packaging so players can officially use them in Warhammer 40,000 alongside the new Codex. The battlefields of the 41st Millennium will see the arrival of a Shield-Captain, units of Custodian Guard and Venatari, Contemptor Dreadnoughts that can be built as Achillus or Galatus variants, Coronus grave-carriers, and Caladius and Caladius-Annihilator grav-tanks.

Fans can also purchase the new Codex: Adeptus Custodes in standard, collector’s, and limited editions, alongside the Adeptus Custodes Command Pack containing 84 reference cards, a set of 16 themed black dice, and the tactical supplement The Battle for the Signus Cluster: Assault on Kol, which focuses on the battle for the cursed world of Kol.

An Adeptus Custodes Combat Patrol will also be released for Warhammer 40,000, containing a Shield-Captain, six Guard, three Venatari, and a Contemptor Dreadnought built as an Achillus or Galatus.

Additionally, Peter Fehervari’s novel Cold Covenant will be available in standard and special editions. The special edition features foil details on the cover, a red ribbon bookmark, sprayed red page edges, and the author’s signature. Pre-orders for this special edition will open on October 7, 2026.

Paperback editions of the books Auxilia by Russell Zimmerman, The Horus Heresy: Massacre by John French, and Apostle by David Annandale will also be released.
