Voting Opens for The Game Awards 2025 Player’s Voice Winner

The Game Awards 2025 will take place on December 11, 2025. In addition to new announcements, the event will honor the year’s best games. Most categories are decided by the press: 100 editorial outlets worldwide determine 90% of the nominees and choose the winners.

One category is unaffected by the media — Player’s Voice. The winner there is chosen entirely by players. Voting happens in several stages. Until December 4, fans select 10 games from the 30 options. On December 4 the second round begins, where voters pick 5 from those 10. Finally, on December 8 the final round opens, and players choose one game from the remaining five to receive the audience award.
