Vincent D’Onofrio Teases Time Jump in Daredevil: Born Again Season 3
The next chapter in the story of Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk will begin sooner than previously expected.
Vincent D’Onofrio discussed the time jump in the third season of Daredevil: Born Again. Earlier reports indicated that the continuation would start approximately one year after the events of the second season, but the jump will be shorter:
“We start six months after the end of the second season. He went to prison, and I got exiled somewhere. I won’t say where. But since we can’t help ourselves, we’ll meet again.”

D’Onofrio also promised that the new episodes will feature many action scenes and described the physically demanding production:
“Charlie and I are involved in all aspects of the show, not just acting. It’s a completely new and very enjoyable experience, but at the same time brutal and hard on the body. Charlie and Wilson do a lot more stunts than I do, but this season was hard for all of us.”
Filming for the third season wrapped in July 2026. The new episodes will premiere on Disney+ in the spring of 2027, though Marvel Studios has not yet announced an exact release date.
