Vera Wang Predicts Taylor Swift Will Wear Multiple Dresses at Her Wedding to Travis Kelce

Renowned bridal designer Vera Wang says she expects Taylor Swift to change into multiple wedding gowns when she marries Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

Speaking with E! News at the DKMS 19th Annual Gala on October 14, Wang offered a brief prediction about Swift’s nuptial wardrobe: she doesn’t anticipate the singer will have just one dress on her wedding day.

Other designers have chimed in as well — Christian Siriano told E! that he imagines Swift wearing lace for at least one of her looks.

Swift and Kelce announced their engagement in August, sharing a playful Instagram caption: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.” As preparations move forward, Swift has hinted the guest list will be expansive and that planning will be an enjoyable challenge.

If Swift does opt for multiple gowns, she would be following a familiar celebrity trend: Selena Gomez appeared to wear several white ensembles at her September wedding to Benny Blanco, demonstrating how many stars now plan multiple outfit changes for their celebrations.

The singer has also suggested that friends from the music world are likely to perform at the ceremony. Speaking to the U.K.’s Hits Radio Breakfast Show, Swift noted that Ed Sheeran would be hard to keep offstage — both because he loves performing and because he understands what fans want to hear.
