Poncle has answered player feedback: Vampire Survivors will officially gain four-player online co-op with the launch of update v1.14.
The indie bullet-hell title is widening its multiplayer options: up to four players will be able to battle together online, rather than being limited to the current two-player local co-op. The developers plan to release online co-op alongside five other additions and improvements bundled into update v1.14. A new playable character may also be included. No exact release date has been announced — the team only specifies an “autumn” window.
Since its debut in late 2022, the game has become a cross-platform phenomenon, with roughly 11 million copies sold on Steam. Poncle has grown enough to launch its own indie publishing label.
Online co-op for Vampire Survivors is due this autumn on PC and consoles. Players will be able to team up with three friends to explore stages together. More players won’t necessarily make the game easier — but don’t take that as a promise.
