Valve Announces Dates for Upcoming Steam Sales and Festivals

Steam will host several themed festivals and the winter sale, which is scheduled to run from December 17, 2026, through January 4, 2027, over the coming months.

Players can take advantage of multiple promotions on Steam in the coming weeks. According to Valve’s official calendar, the schedule is as follows:

• Cooking Fest – October 12–19;
• Steam Next Fest – October 19–26;
• Steam Scream V Fest – October 26 – November 2;
• Auto-Battler RPG Fest – November 16–23;
• Steam Winter Sale – December 17 – January 4.

Steam Next Fest stands out as a notable event where players can try out demo versions of upcoming releases. The October Steam Scream V Fest will appeal to horror fans.

The main event of the end of the year will be the winter sale. It typically features thousands of games, including popular hits and older projects offered at significant discounts.

Themed festivals generally last for about a week, while seasonal sales run longer. The winter event will cover the Christmas holidays and the start of the new year.
