Update 1.2 Fixes v1.2.4.1

Comment Views: 2

Greetings, Pioneers!

Welcome back, everyone! We have just rolled out a fresh hotfix designed to resolve several lingering bugs carried over from our last major update.

Most notably, we have reverted a previous audio-related disablement to restore full modding compatibility. We sincerely hope this adjustment will not interfere with any temporary workarounds the modding community has implemented in the interim.

In addition, we have deployed fixes for several critical stability issues and crashes, which should deliver a much more seamless and reliable gameplay experience for all players.

Should you encounter any further obstacles or wish to share your thoughts, please submit your reports directly to our QA Platform. Your continuous feedback remains instrumental in helping us refine the game.

Thank you all for your unwavering support—we hope these improvements make your sessions much smoother <3

Audio & Modding Updates

  • Re-enabled Audio Routing to ensure Metasound functions natively once more, resolving compatibility issues for audio-centric mods introduced in the previous patch.
    • We previously upgraded our internal Wwise framework to version 2025.1.6 to lay the groundwork for upcoming features. Moving forward, we will ensure Metasound remains active, as we recognize its importance to the modding community. We apologize for any disruption this caused.
  • Reverted Engine.ini back to its default state to prevent compatibility conflicts stemming from modified versions generated during the last update.

Bug Fixes

  • Resolved an issue where loading a saved game would inadvertently clear and blank out all Signs positioned near the Pioneer.
  • Fixed an audio- and Wwise-related freezing issue affecting console players.
  • Eliminated a crash that occurred when targeting a Conveyor Belt configured with multiple Conveyor Throughput Monitors, immediately after dismantling one of them.
  • Fixed a dedicated server crash triggered by placing a Conveyor Throughput Monitor onto a Conveyor Belt.
  • Resolved a shutdown crash tied to audio processing when exiting the title (UFGFAnimInstanceFactory::AudioEventCallback).
