The Road Ahead
Our investigation into more complex issues—such as levitating crates, empty boxes spawning during load sequences, and incorrect inventory appearing on shelves—has revealed fundamental flaws in the current restocker AI.
To provide a permanent solution, we have decided to completely rewrite the restocker system from the ground up. This overhaul will prioritize both logic reliability and overall game performance. While this transition will take some time, it is a necessary step toward a more stable experience.
Ongoing Maintenance
The restocker rewrite does not mean updates will pause. We intend to release frequent patches—likely on a weekly basis—until every known bug in Supermarket Simulator has been eradicated.
Additionally, we’ve heard your feedback regarding the Baker in our latest DLC. We are currently “re-training” him to be more helpful and to balance his baking habits (expect fewer bagels and more variety). A more efficient Baker will be joining your staff very soon.
Important Note on Mods: Many reported issues are frequently linked to the use of third-party mods. These modifications can alter save files in ways that conflict with official updates. As mods are not natively supported, please be aware that we cannot address technical errors stemming from their use.
Thank you for your patience as we work to make Supermarket Simulator the best it can be.
We look forward to seeing you in a more polished store soon!
