A Special Note on Multiplayer Security
As some members of our community recently noticed, a security loophole allowed unauthorized users to alter store names within multiplayer sessions. Initially, we mistook this activity for a harmless prank, similar to occurrences we’ve seen in the past.
Due to our own oversight and lack of experience in handling such specific incidents, we unintentionally misinformed our community management and Discord moderation teams. This led to a misjudgment of the situation and, consequently, poor communication with all of you. We sincerely regret this mistake.
Once the severity of the vulnerability was understood, we collaborated immediately with Photon, our multiplayer service provider, to identify the infrastructure weakness. We have since deployed a hotfix to patch this vulnerability and prevent future occurrences.
We want to reassure our players that your privacy remains our priority. No personal data is ever collected or processed by our game, meaning there is no risk to your private information. You can continue to manage your stores with total peace of mind.
We deeply apologize for any concern this may have caused. We are committed to learning from this experience to provide a better environment for our community. Thank you for your patience and continued loyalty.
